Welcome to CDinaBox Version 1.66 for OS/2 2.x and above April 1996.

This is a program to play audio CD's using MMPM/2.

The only files required to run the program are CDinaBox.exe and CDinaBox.hlp
This program will generate 2 files in the same directory as CDinaBox.exe.
They are CDBox.Dat and CDinaBox.ini . MMPM/2 must be installed on the system
first. CDBoxOut.CMD file can be used to remove CDinaBox from your hard disk.
It will also remove the entry from the OS2.INI file.

WWW Home Page.
Keep an eye on our WWW Home page for the latest version.

What's New.
- Bug fix. Some people had problems with Icons disappearing after using
the Property Notebooks.
- Changed the program so that when it can not attach to the CD-Rom device
it will display the Help Window with some information on common problems.
- Fast Back Button ( Skip Back Menu Option ) will now go to the start of
the current track if you are after the first 5 seconds or to the previous
track if you are within the first 5 seconds.

Installation.
To install the program just copy the CDinaBox.exe and CDinaBox.hlp files
to a directory of your choice and drag a program template from the
template folder on the desktop to the location you want CDinaBox to be.

Upgrade Notes.
If you are upgrading from a version prior to 1.5 then the first time you
use each of the Control Panel's you will have to go to the system menu
( Top Left hand icon on the Control Panel ) and select "Default Size"
so that the Control Panel will be redrawn to the new slightly bigger size.

If you had a version of CDinaBox prior to 1.4 you can use the conversion
program, CDBoxcvt.exe, to convert your CDinaBox.dat file to the new format so
it can be read by the program. To run the conversion program just open an
OS/2 command line and go to the same directory as CDinaBox.dat and run
CDBoxcvt.exe /? for instructions.

Features.
Custom CD's - You can add track information to a CD to create your own CD's.
(Skip over the intro of a song or add tracks to a Disc
                     that only has 1)

Track Status - Give each track a status ( Favorite, Ordinary or Horrible ) and
only play the types you want to.

Custom Text - Enter the text you want to appear on the Control Panels.

Icon Selection - Select your favorite icons to represent tracks of different
types. Send me a copy of your favorite icons so I can
add them to the Icon Collection on the World Wide Web Page.

Track Views - View tracks in different views like a normal folder.

Control Panel - Hide the main window and use the Control Panel to run the
player. Use the normal, mini or maxi Control Panel.

Play Order - Play tracks at random, in the order you select them, by track
status or use Drag and drop to change the Play order. Store
up to 4 different Program Selections for each Disc.

Hold Mode - When in hold mode you can remove the CD from the drive to copy
files from a data disc and then restore the music disc and
pickup playing from the exact position you stopped at.

-And lots more.
